Sam Barnett

Sam started his film making journey in the exhibition sector as a manager at the Showroom Cinema in Sheffield, before progressing to Creative England and Film Hub North over the span of four years. Sam now works as a freelancer across film exhibition and production, recently line producing the upcoming Dawn of the Dark Fox by 104 Films in Sheffield, co-ordinating the BFI Film Academy, and working for eOne as a Regional Marketing Officer.

Sam is also an upcoming film producer based in Sheffield, working within a small, dedicated and
experienced team specialising in the representation of hard-to-reach communities within the North, unearthing new and exciting stories through documentary and fiction.

Jim Wraith

Jim has worked as a camera assistant and operator for reality, factual entertainment and observational documentary for shows and programs shown on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery and several other national TV channels. Jim has also worked with independent film producers, and made the move into independent drama, features and shorts.

Now working from conception to delivery, Jim has enjoyed working on projects from the ground up and his most recent work has been selected for a national award.

Jacob Welby

Jacob has been writing and directing for over ten years. He studied Creative Writing at Sheffield Hallam and walked away with a first class degree. Jacob enjoys collaborating with many artists and creatives across Sheffield in a variety of genres. His projects include short films, prose, animation and audio drama. His work has appeared in cinemas, gone viral and been optioned by the BBC.

Jacob is currently focusing on writing and directing projects surrounding underrepresented communities and the people that occupy them.
